Travel Careers & Training Ltd has been selected as one of the few travel and tourism course providers to be a part of the Youth Guarantee Scheme for 2012.  Youth Guarantee is aimed at 16 & 17 year olds that are thinking of leaving school to gain tertiary level skills that will assist in gaining employment.

The Certificate in Airline, Travel and Tourism involves 18 weeks of learning plus one week of work experience and provides an ideal entry into the world of travel and tourism.

Whether you are thinking about a position in airline reservations, airline check in, a travel agency, a tour wholesaler, a hotel, a rental car firm or another exciting tourism company, this course will provide you with both the skills and qualifications you need and tourism employers desire.

Please note that as the course fees are free, students will not be eligible for student loans including living costs.  Students are able to apply for a Student Allowance if they meet the eligibility requirements for the ‘Independent Youth’ or ‘Independent Circumstances’ benefits. Apply direct to StudyLink for these. Student loans will be available for any additional courses the student may wish to enrol in after the 19 week Certificate in Airline, Travel and Tourism.
